An intake pressure sensor measures the air pressure in cars with a turbo. On the basis of this measurement, the fuel injection and the ignition moment are determined, among other things. The outlet pressure sensor is also known as the differential pressure sensor. This device measures the air pressure in the exhaust and can use this measurement to determine whether the particle filter or particle filter is getting clogged. When a particle filter becomes clogged, this can lead to increased fuel consumption. In addition, the car may lose power. When this is measured by the pressure sensor, the particle filter will regenerate. This means that the particle filter is cleaned and the particulates are burned so that the filter is clean again.
