The Orion kit is equipped with the famous K&N air filter that you can clean periodically, and offers the advantage of an open conical air filter and a standard air filter housing in one. The plastic molded housing acts as a heat shield to prevent any power loss. The design has been thoroughly tested for hours before the final shape has been chosen. This shape ensures the best possible air flow, lowest restriction and best filtration, all in a small space. Included in the box is a template to make your own vinyl wrap for personal adaptation of the housing. The whole is supplied with a 76 mm air filter base flange and a 100 mm diameter inlet. The filter base is equipped with a 1/4 inch NPT stud for mounting an optional ventilation adapter.
