This device measures the air pressure in the exhaust and can use this measurement to determine whether the particle filter or particle filter is getting clogged. When this is measured by the pressure sensor, the particle filter will regenerate. This means that the particle filter is cleaned and the particulates are burned so that the filter is clean again.
