EUROL TBN BOOSTER
Eurol TBN Booster is an additive, developed to increase the TBN in order to obtain longer oil change intervals in regions where the fuel contains a lot of sulfur. Eurol TBN Booster is compatible with all commercial motor oils for gasoline and diesel engines; Eurol TBN Booster is not recommended for engines that run on gas or are equipped with a particulate filter.
Eurol TBN Booster extends the oil change interval, because it adds extra alkalinity to the oil. Alkalinity (TBN) is required to neutralize corrosive acids; the more sulfur there is in the fuel, the more corrosive acids are formed. Eurol TBN Booster increases the alkalinity reserve, so that the oil can last longer in that respect. Eurol TBN Booster is ideally suited for the mixed fleet and can be used in older engines for transport and earth moving that run on high sulfur fuel. Eurol TBN Booster neutralises more acids and helps prevent contamination from accumulating by creating longer oil change intervals.
Instructions:
- A 250ml can of Eurol TBN Booster is recommended for use in 4L to 6L engine oil.
- Add the additive to the warm engine oil
- Make sure that the maximum oil level is not exceeded by reading the oil dipstick.
- After adding the additive, let the engine idle for 10 minutes to ensure proper mixing in the oil.
