The 2.0LM 133 turbo engine in the specified AMG A-Class models is equipped with indirect air cooling. Therefore, the charge air cooling process is not (as usual) achieved with ambient air as the coolant, but rather with its own cooling water circuit. A reduction in the coolant temperature is therefore directly equivalent to improved charge air cooling capacity. This is precisely where the benefits of the WAGNERTUNING Upgrade Radiator come into play.
The newly developed Competition Race Net from the WAGNERTUNING high-performance water cooler increases the radiator volume of the series water cooler by a total of 78%. The ratio of inner to outer cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer while simultaneously providing sufficient airflow to adjacent components (e.g., the engine radiator behind them) for heat exchange. Furthermore, the radiators are equipped with a heat-conducting, anti-corrosion coating, ensuring long-lasting cooling.
