    The high-performance intercooler from Wagner Tuning has a new competition core (Tube Fin) with the dimensions 600 mm x 204.6 mm x 80 mm (9.8 liters), which has been specially developed for the requirements of the Fiat 500 Abarth. This high-performance core offers an 85% larger frontal area and 131% more core volume compared to the standard intercooler. The aluminum die-cast end tanks are designed in CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow).

    For the best possible heat exchange, the WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler for the car has been installed, replacing the two original side intercoolers. The newly developed elliptical hose connection at the outlet of this intercooler and the WAGNERTUNING silicone hoses ensure maximum possible reduction of the intake air distance. As a result of the generally lower back pressure of the complete intercooler system and the short intake air gap, the overall response could be significantly improved.
