The high-performance intercooler from WAGNERTUNING has a new competition network (tube fin) with the dimensions 600 mm x 167 [101] mm x 125 [90] mm [sorted]. This corresponds to an external network volume of 11.14 liters. The WagnerTuning Competition intercooler for the Polo GTI thus offers a 24% larger frontal flow area and 73% more external network volume than the original intercooler. The die-cast aluminum end boxes are designed in CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow). The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure, optimum cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
