Model specific two-part solution
The Brodit headrest is car specific and acts as a mounting platform. You will also need a holder for the unit you want to mount. All Brodit holders can be mounted on the headrest mount, but some surf pad holders are crash tested and approved for use on Brodit headrest mounts (look for crash test labeling).

The headrest mount should be placed on the front seat headrest. Installation instructions are included. The front plate of the headrest mount has pre-drilled holes which makes it easier to attach a holder.
