Spark plug sockets

Spark plug sockets are specially designed to help you remove and install spark plugs in your car engine. The socket fits perfectly on the spark plug and holds it securely thanks to a rubber or magnetic insert. This ensures that the spark plug does not fall out when you remove or install it. You place the spark plug socket on a ratchet or other hand tool such as a torque wrench. This allows you to easily loosen or tighten the spark plug.

Which spark plug socket do I need?

Make sure the spark plug sockets are the right size for your spark plugs. Common sizes are 16 mm and 21 mm, but it's important to check this for your car.

If you frequently replace spark plugs yourself, it is wise to buy spark plug sockets that are made of high-quality material, such as chrome-vanadium steel. This material lasts a long time, so you don't have to adjust it.

Pay attention to the type of insert the spark plug socket uses. You don't want to drop your new spark plugs, of course. Rubber inserts provide a good grip, while magnetic inserts provide extra assurance that the spark plug stays in place during use. In addition to spark plug sockets, you can also opt for spark plug pliers. These have long legs so you can reach the spark plugs well. With the pliers, you have the grip in your hands.

Finally, you can choose a set or a single spark plug socket. If you work on multiple cars with different sizes of spark plugs, a set may be more economical.

Winparts as part of Alliance Automotive Holding Limited and all its subsidiaries ( AAH ) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company ( GPC ), and part of an international company specialized in the distribution and sale of automotive parts and car accessories (AAH will be referred to as we, us, or our throughout this Data Protection Notice ( Notice ) unless otherwise specified)).

We place great importance on the principles of honesty and transparency in operating our businesses and want to establish and maintain a trusting relationship with you. This Notice is designed to help you understand how we respect your personal data by describing how we collect, use, process, and share your personal data when you interact with us, visit our websites ( Sites ), use our mobile applications ( Apps ), or participate in any other online services we offer (collectively Services ), and to help you understand and exercise your privacy rights.

Please Note: This Notice does not apply to any of the personal data that we process on behalf of our enterprise customers or business partners ( Enterprise Customers ) through our commercial relationships with them (such data is our Customers’ Data ). We may access, preserve, and disclose any information we store associated with you to external parties if we, in good faith, believe doing so is required or appropriate to: comply with law enforcement or national security requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; protect your, our, or others’ rights, property, or safety; enforce our policies or contracts; collect amounts owed to us; or assist with an investigation or prosecution of suspected or actual illegal activity.

Disclosure in the Event of Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, purchase or sale of assets, or transition of service to another provider, your personal data may be transferred as part of such a transaction, as permitted by law and/or contract.

Email Communications. If you receive an unwanted email from us, you may reply to the sender and ask not to be contacted again, or, where applicable, you can use the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of the email to opt out of receiving future emails. Note that you will continue to receive transaction-related emails regarding products or Services you have requested. We may also send you certain non-promotional communications regarding us and our Services, and you will not be able to opt out of those communications (e.g., communications regarding our Services or updates to our Terms or this or other legal Notice(s)).
Text Messages. If you elected to receive text messages and receive an unwanted text message from us, you may opt out of receiving future text messages by following the instructions in the text message you received.
Mobile Devices. If you enable push notifications from any App we may offer, we may contact you via push notifications. You may opt out from receiving these push notifications by changing the settings on your mobile device. If you enable location sharing on your mobile device with our App, we may also collect precise location-based information. You may opt out of this collection by changing the settings on your mobile device.
Live Chat. If you visit our Sites or use our Apps you may request customer service using a live chat feature. Chats are user-initiated and session-based and you can discontinue a chat you initiate at any time.
Phone calls. If you receive an unwanted phone call from us, you may opt out of receiving future phone calls from us by following the instructions on the call or by Contacting Us.
Cookies and Personalized Advertising. You may stop or restrict the placement of certain Technologies on your device or remove them by adjusting your preferences through the Cookie Banner on the Site you are visiting from, or as your device permits. However, depending on how you adjust your preferences our Services may not work optimally. Please note that cookie-based opt-outs are not effective on mobile applications. However, you may opt-out of personalized advertisements on some mobile applications by following the instructions for Android, iOS, and others. Request to Be Informed and Access Your Personal Data. You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection, use and disclosure of your personal data.
