DS 1.11 – The most durable circuit racing brake pads from Ferodo
The DS 1.11 brake pads are the most durable pads of the Ferodo Racing line. They have a compound that lasts the longest under very intensive and long-term use. They have a friction coefficient of 0.46 and are suitable in a temperature range of 150 to 750 degrees.
The DS 1.1 provides significantly more friction as the temperature of the blocks increases. The blocks perform optimally from 250 degrees and the friction coefficient remains optimal up to 750 degrees. This way you can brake with consistent braking pressure from 150 degrees to 750 degrees.
The heat transfer to the brake calipers will also be smaller, meaning that the fluid will not heat up as quickly. This allows you to drive many more laps fast than you would normally be used to.
The best combination for street and track:
- Relatively good bite when cold. It does perform considerably better at temperature.
- Average friction coefficient of 0.46 provides confidence and very good braking power over a very wide temperature range. Better than the Uno at lower temperatures. This applies to almost the entire temperature range up to 750 degrees.
- Very resistant to higher temperatures, whereby the DS 1.1 remains very friendly to the brake discs.
- The special back plate reduces heat transfer between the block and the brake caliper
- This compound is very easy to regulate and provides excellent pedal feel.
