The Dresco ART 1* (MBT 4314) chain lock is 100 centimeters long and features 7-millimeter-thick hardened chain links. An ART 1* lock is an excellent choice for protecting a bicycle against theft. The chain lock provides basic theft prevention, for example, during a short stop or in locations with a low risk of theft. The durable plastic coating around the lock body and the polyester cover protect the bicycle from potential damage. The chain lock comes with two keys.
This Dresco chain lock has a Security Range 8, which means it falls into the Medium Protection category. Security Ranges 6-10 provide good security and help slow theft. These locks are used where the risk of theft is low to moderate. Suitable as a second lock to secure your bike to a fixed object, often in combination with a frame lock.
