The 2.0LM 133 turbo engine of AMG's specified A-class models is equipped with indirect air cooling. The cooling process of the charge air is therefore not (as usual) realized with the ambient air as the cooling medium, but made with the help of its own cooling water circuit. A reduction in the cooling water temperature is therefore also directly equivalent to an improved cooling capacity of the charge air. This is exactly where the benefits of the WAGNER TUNING Upgrade Radiator come in handy.
The newly developed Competition race net of the WAGNER TUNING high-performance water cooler increases the radiator volume of the series water cooler by a total of 78%. The ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time provides the adjacent components (e.g. the engine radiator behind it) with sufficient airflow for its heat exchange. In addition, the radiators are equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating, so that a long-lasting cooling effect is guaranteed.
