The Competition Intercooler has the following core size (580mm x 231mm x 110mm [stepped] = 12,600cm³), which provides 53% more frontal area and 52% more volume compared to the original intercooler. Our engineers increased the size and efficiency of the intercooler core, as well as the design of the final tank to remove any OEM bottlenecks, resulting in higher flow rates and improved cooling characteristics.
Competition Intercooler Core with turbulators (weight: 9.2kg). Made from the highest quality Tube and Fin intercooler cores combined with cast aluminum, optimized by CAD. Flow analyses and simulations were performed to optimize the design for optimal internal airflow. This intercooler is the best choice for performance gains and low intake temperatures. Significantly lower pressure drop than an OEM intercooler. Anti-corrosion protective coating with excellent heat dissipation.
