Clutch cylinder broken

When the clutch cylinder is broken, there are a number of symptoms by which you can recognize this. The first symptom is a "floppy" clutch pedal. For example, the clutch pedal stays put when you press it instead of it coming back up. The clutch cannot now disengage properly and therefore cannot shift.
