Dirty cabin filter

When the pollen filter is clogged, the dirt in the air will no longer be filtered properly. In the most favourable case, with a clogged filter you will only get an unpleasant odour in your car. In a less favourable situation, a clogged filter ensures that windows get foggy or get a bit greasy. The location of the filter depends on the make and type of car. For some cars, the filter is located under the glove box on the passenger's side. For other cars, the filter can be found under the bonnet. If you can find the filter, you can easily replace it.

Under the bonnet: If the filter is under the bonnet, you need to partially remove the rubber strip at the bulkhead. Followed by removing the cover, after which you can take out the filter and simply replace it with the new one.

Under the dashboard: Under the dashboard, you can find 2 plastic screws. Carefully unscrew these. You can then slide the cover to the right to release the filter. Remove the pollen filter and clean it from dirt. The new filter can be put into position and refix the cover plate.
