Solid material, fits perfectly, although just a bit too big (1/2 cm in width). What is annoying is that, despite leaving it flat on the room floor for 3 days, the mat still does not lie completely flat. This is due to the rolled up transport. Quality is flexible, which also makes the space under the trunk easily accessible without having to force or remove the mat. Great purchase!
