Recognize a broken release bearing

The clutch release can usually maintain its operation well for about 100,000 km. However, a defect cannot be prevented. The most common cause of a defect bearing is therefore fatigue. When to replace the clutch release bearing?

A defective clutch release bearing can be recognized by a rattling, whistling or squeaking sound when pressing the clutch, which becomes more and more audible over time. This noise is caused by the part being worn out. When the clutch release bearing is worn on the guide bush, pressing the coupling can also feel rough or heavy.
