To properly tension and time the timing belt, you will need, for example, a tension gauge, assembly tools and hose cutter.

Adjust timing belt

When replacing the timing belt, you will need to properly adjust and tension it. This is done on the basis of tension rollers and a tension meter. In the manual of the car you can find what the voltage value in Kg/Hz should be for your vehicle. With the tension gauge you can then easily measure whether the tension on the belt is adjusted correctly.
