Engine stand broken symptoms

Usually, faulty engine stands cause a number of symptoms. One of the most common symptoms is impact noises coming from the engine compartment. These noises are caused by the engine not being properly seated in the engine stands. Another symptom is that vibrations arise, because the engine stands will absorb the shock movements of the engine less well. Also, a moving engine in the engine compartment can indicate broken or failing engine stands. You will especially feel this motor movement when accelerating or braking. The motor will then jerk forwards, backwards, left or right. Properly working engine stands will normally stop this. If you recognize any of these symptoms or suspect that engine suspension problems have arisen, check your vehicle.

Replace engine stand

To be able to check whether the engine stands need to be replaced, you will have to put your car on a service pit or jack it up with a car jack.
