Oil cap

The oil filler cap gives you access to the oil reservoir, so you can easily top up your engine oil. In general, the oil filler cap doesn't wear out, but you can, of course, lose it accidentally. Driving with an open oil reservoir is not recommended. Not only can this result in a big mess, but dirt will also get into the engine oil, meaning it will need to be changed sooner.
