Buy Air Conditioning Pressure Switch

Air conditioning pressure switch broken

When the pressure switch of the air conditioning is broken, this will be noticeable from the air that is blown into the car. In the event of a faulty pressure switch, the air that is blown into the interior will no longer be properly cooled. Sometimes there will even be no cooling at all. In most cases, a pressure switch will fail due to rust or corrosion on the contacts of the sensor. In addition, the switch can break due to vibrations from the car or dirt in the air conditioning hoses. You can try to free the contacts from rust, this could cause the pressure switch to work properly again. Doesn't this help? Then it is important to replace the switch.

Replace air conditioning pressure switch

The difficulty of replacing the pressure switch depends on the make and type of car. On some cars, the air conditioning system will first have to be emptied. However, this is not the case with most vehicles. Also, the seal ring will have to be replaced and it is sometimes necessary to replace the contacts or terminals for proper functioning of the new pressure switch. Would you rather leave this job to a garage? Then make sure you order the part at a low price from Winparts and deliver it to the garage yourself. This often saves you a lot of costs at the garage.
