Windshield wiper arm broken

Replacing wiper linkage

When you have disassembled the arms, you can open the hood and remove the cover from the linkage. Then the nuts with which the linkage is attached must be loosened. Carefully remove the linkage, it is still connected to the wiper motor with a plug. You disconnect this plug and you can now connect it to the new linkage. All parts can now be replaced in the opposite direction.

Replacing wiper arm

Replacing the wiper arm is a simple job and you can easily do it yourself. For this you have to look where the pivot point of the arm is. When you have found the pivot point you will see a screw, which is sometimes still hidden under a cap. When you loosen this screw, the wiper arm can be easily removed. Clean the surface and then the new wiper arm can be fitted. To get the wipers in excellent condition again, you can choose to also replace the wiper blades.
